Hi my friends @Calvin @jkyoho , I need some advice.

The original fault was already present before replacing the HDMI port.

The console had:

- black screen / intermittent image

- artifacts/sparkles

- image cutting in and out

I replaced the HDMI port as a possible cause, and then replaced it a second time to completely rule out a bad port, but the exact same issue remains.

Current symptoms:

- Safe Mode: perfect and completely stable

- 1080p: perfect

- 1440p: perfect

- 2160p: artifacts/sparkles appear and the image starts cutting in and out / flashing to black

- Moving the HDMI cable does not affect the image

- Tested on another TV with the same result

- All HDMI pin diode-mode readings look correct

- A6 and A71 diodes have already been replaced

So the fault clearly seems to appear only at higher HDMI bandwidth.

Has anyone had this exact issue and actually fixed it?

UPDATE:

I did some more testing:

- 2160p with “4K Video Transfer Rate” set to -1: still flashing

- 2160p with “4K Video Transfer Rate” set to -2: completely perfect and stable

I also took screenshots while the TV was showing a black screen, and the screenshots are perfectly clean with no artifacts.

It really seems bandwidth-related. Could this point to the HDMI encoder or filters/chokes?

It seemed to be solved by replacing the encoder but nothing…Even with donor encoder same problem
