Try to look to youtube for getting your knowledge expanded.
Also a good setup like a good soldering iron with also small tips. Good flux, desolder wire, solder pump.
And just try and keep trying. If you are not familiar with a thing. Check on YouTube of ifixit for guides first. Before trying anything. Especially with other people their devices.
I’ve got a good quality rework station and it wasn’t that expensive au $150 at the most
To start repaire console you need a courses and some junk motherboared for practice…
Don’t use cheep solder or flux a good soldering iron hako and a air station like the atten a good start.but plz plz plz don’t learn on retro games like game gears grandstand these games need to be saved and repaired .there not for practice.imo.and don’t think it’s as easy as it looks on YouTube most people been doing this for years and it’s second nature to them .plus they can edit so it looks like it went ok the first time but we all know it very rarely does lol.
