Hello everyone,
I’m honestly getting frustrated with this issue and would like to ask if anyone has experienced something similar.
I modded my friend’s Nintendo Switch V2 using a Picofly chip. It worked fine for a few days — I was able to create the emuMMC, install games, and play for a few hours without any issue.
However, after turning it off and leaving it unused for around 2 days, it booted to an orange screen. Hekate still boots properly, but I cannot boot into either emuMMC or OFW because it just goes to the orange screen.
I then removed the modchip and checked for any solder bridges or obvious issues. After that, the Switch booted normally again and I was able to play for a few days. But after turning it off again for around 2 days, the orange screen came back.
The issue is intermittent. One thing I also noticed is that sometimes when charging, the console freezes or hangs.
I’m not sure if this issue already existed before the mod, but probably not, since it seemed to work normally before.
Has anyone encountered this kind of issue before? Could this be related to the WiFi/BT module, power/charging circuit, or possibly a BGA/CPU/RAM solder issue?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
