Nintendo Switch with a short on a companent (It may be a Zener Diode)
Does anyone know what the part is and if an Zener Diode what is its orientation

The diode is not needed to run the Switch. If the diode is removed and the short is still there, you have a short on your Vsys line. The Vsys is one of the main power lines which supplies many components all over the board.
