Please help. I took apart, and now it will power on without the disc drive, but when I put in the disc drive it won’t power on anymore. Please help!!!

When you plug the drive back in, are you sure the power supply is securely in place?
Sounds like the ribbon cable may be damaged or not seated properly. I had one with a bad cable once that totally disabled the front of the console. Nothing worked. no usb, no eject button, and no power button
