Switch docks but does not output video

My sisters 001(-01) model Switch no longer outputs video when docked, but the docks Green LED lights up and the console charges in the dock. Dock has been tested with my Switch and does work. First I checked the USBC Port, no loose pins and no debris in the port, and its charging on both sides. So I checked the M92T36 chip and surrounding capacitors, and no issues. Flipped over to the PI3USB, checked all capacitors and the filters which were all good. I’ve never heard of a PI3 or M92 being bad but not causing a short, so I’m starting to lean towards the charging port being being damaged in a way that’s not easy to see. Does anyone got any ideas?

defintely not true, both IC’s can be faulty and not show shorts on surrounding passives. Check the surrounding chokes on P13 and make sure they’re still good, replace P13 and see if that solves it if chokes look good.

Good to know, thank you. The chokes look good so I’ll replace P13 and the USB-C port on Friday and update back.
