Title: Switch OLED Dropped – No TV Output (PI13 Replaced) / Charging OK / Dock Green Light ON

Hi guys,

Working on a Switch OLED that took a very heavy drop. Young kid smashed it on the ground. Some traces have been damaged and I have ran two jump wires to repair joycon slide recognition. This one is fixed. I re-assembled with a donor device and all other features are working except docking mode.

Current Issue:

Charges fine, dock green LED turns ON when seated, but there is no TV/HDMI output.

What I’ve Checked / Replaced:

  1. Type-C port physically intact; charging work normally.

  2. Replaced the PI13USB video IC — no change.

  3. HDMI-related caps/ESD filtering elements check out fine.

  4. Diode Mode Measurement: Measured Pin 1 and got 1.7V (normal reference should be ~0.5V？I think)

I have replaced another PI13USB chip and works. Pin 1 diode mode mesurement is 0.5v. First 3-4 trials of docking were not showing image. It is detected hdmi channel only. But after that I tried docking for several times and it worked. So far so good.
