I think I broke the LCD connector on a Nintendo Switch, unfortunatly I think that two pins are shorting out inside the connector, and I want to make sure the console works, if I was to remove the LCD connector, would the console still boot up and work with a dock?

Ok, one of the pins I think is bridged, it was generating a lot of heat, so I removed the battery. Do you think this killed the console, or would simply removing the connector fix it?
Many thinks are possible and depends on which lines are shorted. To check, you have to remove the short on the connector. If it is possible, bend the touching pins apart or remove the connector.
