Hi all, during a tear down of my Xbox One X to replace the HDD, I accidently ripped the Front USB/controller connector port (the side which plugs into the motherboard.
The connector was held down so tightly that when it did come off, the entire connector ripper off from the board as well as some of the motherboard green covering itself on 2 of the pins.
My question is that would soldering the connector back onto the board without those two connectors make the front USB/controller button work again or are those two pins important?
I’ve attached a photo which shows the ripped off connector still attached to the USB board and the green motherboard shards on the two pins in question.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks
