I was told the 3DS fell from about 6ft onto a hard floor. It no longer boots. The blue light comes on for a second, there is a small pop sound, then it shuts off. I have Taken it apart and all the way to dismantling the top screen in order to re-seat all the cables. There was no noticeable physical damage inside. Put it back together. The same things happens. Blue light, pop noise, shut off.
Any suggestions? Is there a schematic somewhere that I can use to test circuits?
