Hello everyone. I’ve had a problem with the backlight on the Switch Lite - not 17 volts but outputting 41V. The inductor gets very hot.
I changed the bga 9 pin chip with a new one. Still 41V.
Why so much? It needed 17V. Thank you
Where do you measure the 41v? at inductor?
Any solution ? I Have same issue. My screen filckering because I get 24v intead of 17v. I replace main diode and Backlight IC, but nothing new.
Solution found, a screen with a faulty backlight is the guilty 
Hello guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me finde the Diode with the P or B4 code for my Switch ?
Inside the datasheet for the TPS61163A you can find on page 19 a recommendation for the Schottky diode: ONSemi MBR0540 and NSR05F40, and Vishay MSS1P4
