I am on a Switch that works fine (screen, charge…), but the BQ gets very hot (+80°C with the thermal cam).
I already replaced the BQ 2 times and the M92136 2 times too, same results.
I tried with 2 different batteries (one is brand new).
I found no short on the motherboard, everything seems to be fine.
Do you have ideas about the source of this issue?

I reply to my own message, to help futur similar issue.
It was the 2R2 coil that was faulty. I replaced it and now everything is fine, the BQ does not reach more than 60°C now.

Have similar issue. Bq gets hot seen through thermal camera. Nothing on screen. I get .46amp draw. Replaced bq chip same thing. No shorts that i could find. Will replace 2r2 coil next. Hopefully that fixes it.
