Broke the Fan Connector off switch mobo during fan replacement

So, I was a little to rough with the tiny clam connector where the fan connects to the mobo on the switch and I broke the connector. I’ve seen online there are replacements for the battery connector. But i’m not finding anything about other people accidentally damaging the connector.

I tried to hot glue the connector down and it ofcourse did not work.

Any assistance on how to fix this would be great :smiley:

You need to microsolder it, hot glue does not restore connection.

being that I have limited to zero experience with soldering stuff I’m going to look for a repair center. Could you tell me is is this rather common or rather easy to repair? it appears to be rather ez to fix but i’m sort of getting the run around by local repair places.
