Can I use a v2 flex cable on v1 switch?

The question is: Can I use a v2 flexcable on a v1 Switch?
This because I have only a v2 flexcable. If I have to order a new flex cable it’ll take about a month, so yeah I don’t want to wait that long! lol
I had this picofly for years, but again only with a v2 flex cable (so with the 2 MOSFETs). Does this matter? I know the orientation is different of the 2 caps, but it isn’t that hard to adjust that.

SO what would stop you using v2 on v1?

Because it has 2 caps, and I don’t know if that’s possible. That’s why I asked.
So today I tried, and I got some magic smoke.

well that mean you know little about the orientation difference but didnt fully compare v1 and v2 flex allocated specific sp1&sp2 cap. v1 or v2 Flex does same job, you could find ppl hard wire sp1 sp2 cap to mosfets and work with raspberry pi module.
V1 has Drain on top side of sp1&sp2 caps, where v2 has Drain on the sp1 right side, and sp2 cap left side.
They all interchangeable as long as you know where to modify/cut out the flex and align properly with the cap you need to jumper onto

the magic smoke wasn’t anything special. Everything still works, lol. It was flux on the wire. But i had to eat, so i just tried really fast without cleaning, and thought wtf smoke… so when i looked after i ate i saw it was just the flux, so i cleaned it and now all is fine…
Thanks for the reply!
