Nintendo switch had bent pins in the charging port. It could power on on fine and work.
Replaced the charging port and it turned on, but the touch wasn’t working. So, I went to reseat all the cables and clean them with IP. Once I reassembled the Nintendo switch it now had no display, but the touch was working. There was a backlight, and I could hear the noises.
I replaced the charging port again after all this because I got a microscope.
Later on I went to turn the switch on again its shows the first Nintendo logo with no backlight and turns back off. And if I remember currently the logo looked a bit glitched.
Now for the last time I looked at the switch again to check the connectors for bent pins and the lcd connected had a bent pin. I’m not sure how long it has been bent.
The switch will also not dock and show a display to tv. The dock green light shows for a quick second then turns off. And the switch backlight turns on. I’m guessing this is because the switch can’t boot.
Current problem: No display, there is backlight, can’t get pass first logo then black screen.
What next steps do you think should I take? besides replacing the lcd connector. I can provide photos thanks.
