Cap indentation

Hi all

Switch turns on but soon as Nintendo shows on the screen powers off only charging at 5v and 0.05A draw
Replaced the m92 but still have a short on this cap any ideas?

btw: I never had one of this three LDO caps blown. From my experience: If one of the LDO caps shows a short, the m92t36 is blown. Not the cap.

Thanks for the reply is it possible it’s a faulty m92 plus I have changed the port could I have shorted something there to blow the m92?

I would check the usb port with a breakout board and see if the readings are fine.

I’ve removed the charging port now and have an open circuit from CC2 pad to the CC2 pin on the M92 do you have a diagram of this cheers

I replaced the M92 chip again and that sorted the short on the cap must have been a faulty chip !! But still not charging!
