Hello, I’m searching for help with fixing my ps4. It takes discs but only when turned on and the disc never goes all the way. I thought that the problem was with the drive logic board but with other one nothing changes. I’ve checked the mechanisms and 3 sensors and they’re all ok. It seems like the mechanism activates the cd in sensor too early but it doesn’t explain why the eject button isn’t working. Have you any ideas?
I solved the problem.The ribbon cable that is connecting the disc drive logic board with the motherboard was bent and because of that there wasn’t good connection between them. It just needed to be straighten.
