Disc drive no taking or ejecting discs

Disc edition ps5 which was working fine. One day the disc drive just stopped taking discs, no noise or beeping. Its like there is no power going to it.

Tests the systems manual disk rotator and the gear doesnt move along the teeth it just gets stuck. Put the gear back to the right side as if the drive was empty but still no movement. Everything seems to be in place.
Anyone else had a similar issue

If you open the drive and turn (carefully) the inside drive modul so that you can see the black lever mechanic, which reacts to the outline of the disc, you can check if the three switches on the end of the lever are switching when pressed.
