Does anyone know where I could get a schematic for a BDM-010 board?

I need to know where the center pad of the lower potentiometer of the left joystick connects to.

I’m having an error where the stick is stuck pointing to the right.

Up and down it works fine, but left to right doesn’t, it only points to the right. I tried changing the stick and the error continued.
Even if the stick is not connected, the error continues.

I think the problem may be due to the lack of continuity in the center track to where it’s supposed to go.

The problem is that I don’t know where it’s supposed to go because the track only goes to one place and there it enters the internal layers, but I don’t know where it has to exit to test for continuity.

does anyone know how can i check it?

I can’t upload images yet, sorry about that.

Hi, first of i just registered so sorry for my late reply. Secondly, the center pin of the potentiometer (output) goes to the microcontroller i suppose. Are you sure it isn’t a potentiometer issue? Maybe it does make a connection but you missing a capacitor or a resistor somewhere (accidently knocked it off maybe?)

For continuity check i would just try every VIAS on the board until you hear a beep

I’m sure. I tried swapping it out plenty of times with new pots, even replaced the whole stick, but no luck. I even took it to a few techs I know and none of them could fix it.

My theory is that the trace from that pad isn’t going where it’s supposed to, but I’ve got no idea where it ends up.

The thing is, if I’m right, no matter how much I test for continuity, it just won’t beep anywhere.

Tobad I don’t have a bdm-010 laying arround here. I do have a bdm-030 and i am trying to make a schematic for it (im still learning). Even tho the trace routes are different, it should end up at the same place!

here you go

Thanks! I’ll give it a shot and let you know if it worked.

My rxp hole is damaged some of the metal chipped off would this cause my controller to lock left ? That’s what’s happening what can I do

Sorry it’s actually my lxp

follow the trace from the picture and rebuild it with jumper wire going through the hole and solder it with the pot middle leg on back side

Thanks so do I scrape some of the green away and does it have to be where the trace ends or can it be anywhere in the trace?

yes, anywhere along the trace should work

Sorry to bother you again but the jumper worked perfectly but I need to troubleshoot why my L3 button won’t work any ideas

check this trace, you might have yellow mark hole ripped

Hey did you by chance take a picture of your repair?? My Lxp hole had the same thing happen and my stick holds left.. any kind of help and exactly what you did would be great. Thanks.
