EASY Switch OLED Resistor Trace for flex cable

I have a flex cable for a custom OLED setup. The pad on the flex was broken upon arrival so I need to solder a wire from the resistor onto the flex cable, but I check both sides (front/back) and can’t follow it’s trace line to see where it is going or where to solder to, in order to bypass the broken pad.

The red circle is to highlight the pad in question that is supposed to be soldered to. seems super easy I just don’t know enough yet. Btw, doesn’t need to be the flex cable, it can be the chip if needed. Thank you.

The pad is a ‘no connect’. But its purpose is to secure the flex cable in place, that the tiny D (CLK) pad connection doesn’t move.

Thank you. For the longest time I always assumed that pad was really important and never got a good connection. All the other test pads gave me excellent readings, so just touching up the wires I already soldered (CLK/Dat0) fixed it.
