EDM-03X, all the (coil) power inducers show short to ground. the power supply shows 0 volts when connected and 12 vdc with no load and not connected. I am guessing the PS shuts down when its overloaded.
If your power supply is dropping from 12V to 0V if connected to the PS5 mainboard, there should be a short on the 12V line.
I guess he meant power supply doesnot ouput 12v when AC cord plug in? which mean no beep or no light
FYI, coil/inductor to APU nowadays is normal to have only few milli-ohm to ground resistance/impedance. Modern GPU/APU like rtx50 series has roughly 10milli-ohm on those vCore coils
I apologize, my component lingo may be off. ok when you when you plug in the PS IN to 120v ac. The power supply shows 12vdc without the main board connected. If I connect the main board to the power supply and plug it in I get 0vdc. If i test Continuity on the power inductor’s or coils on the power rail i get 0.000M ohm. So there’s a short? And they all show to be shorted. How do I test to find the bad ones?
