EDM 040 with external disc drive.
I’m not sure if the disc drive is working; it’s in a bad state, but I don’t have any power at all.
The F5401 fuse is fine.
Is there a way to test the connector on the motherboard? It’s a little loose, but the pins are soldered correctly. Is there a diagram with the values?
Is there a way to test the drive outside the motherboard to see if it’s receiving power?
missing 0.35 pin 5 and 7 - missing 0.22 pin 11 and 13.
Others are ok. does it all come from F5401?
no resistance on those pins!
Measurement without disc drive, right? Just a connector?
Measurments on my readings are only the connector on the PS5 slim mainboard w/o disc drive.
The fuse F5401 is only for the power rails towards the disc drive.
The both missing pairs seems to be the sata datalines to the southbridge and should be going through the ESD protection array chip on the backside of the board at the connector. Please check if there is continuity from one side to the other.
