My elite series 2 controller’s LB button had become really unresponsive, as in it was taking a lot of effort and multiple presses to get it to work. I took it apart and replaced the tactile switch.
After putting it back together, it’s got new problems. The D pad skips, and the ABXY buttons are unresponsive. It shows that I press A, but it only shows a click on the screen for a brief time and won’t execute the command.
I replaced the D pad sticker, cleaned the circuit board and the rubber gasket that lays over the buttons and put it back together with the same result. I don’t know if I fried something when I replaced the tactile switch or where to even look for problems. I’m at a loss and totally frustrated. I can’t find any solutions online and hope someone here can point me in the right direction.
