Error code E100 00000703 80810002

Hi everyone,

I’ve bought a faulty Xbox One S, I have not received it yet, but I am interested in finding out a bit more about the error code it’s throwing. It seems to be E100 00000703 80810002.

There’s little to no info about this online. I’ve only managed to find a couple of links about this specific error. There seem to have been cases where users tried going for the Preview Update. Subsequently, this has bricked their devices and it seems that people are stuck at this stage.

Presuming this is the case, and it’s legitimately bricked, what parts can be swapped to other consoles? What would be the actual components which are causing the issue?

Might be worth mentioning that I don’t have the console yet. I’m just trying to find out more info about where I should start debugging once I have it. I will probably be inclined to do a power cycle / new HDD + USB OS install and all the standard stuff, but I fear that due to the lack of info online, this will probably not fix anything.
