I have a board here which has had torn off usb pads (i ran jumpers directly from plug to pads) and broken mt & bq chip
all usb contacts have continuity & chips are replaced
Now the console boots up, voltage gets to the bq chip (which goes in fast charge mode and “charges” with max. 500ma, atleast thats what hekate tells me) but the usb plug works only in one direction and the console discharges while charging
Board “charges” with ~40ma on a pc and shows “can’t charge” icon on usb wall adapter
Has someone had this issue before?
I think that the esd diode on the cc lines has failed and / or maybe pi13usb (because it can’t get a data connection with my pc) but i need to check
