Fast charging on only one side of USB-C cable

Hi,

Can you please confirm that if I have fast charging on only one side of the USB-C cable it is a problem with the USB-C port.
Thanks for your help

Hi bro,
It seemed like you have the same issue as I do.
Did u manage to resolve it? If yes, what was the issue?

It’s possible that the ESD device that protects the CC lines from the USB Type-C port has been fried which can cause the M92 to not detect insertion. It’s located on the underside of the board next to the USB Type-C connector. It isn’t fitted on some boards, so could be removed to test the theory.

Send you referring to the little chip in from of the 9/10 ? I have a switch charging on just one side. The port was replaced by someone I trust and wasn’t charging at all after. I replaced M92 and now charges on one side at .48. I’ll try what you’re talking about tomorrow
