I got a broken 3ds xl from a friend, its issue is that it wont turn on, not even a blue led will show, i do have a working 3rd party battery thats fully charged, ive isolated the motherboard and wifi card from the ribbon cables etc².
Ive charged it before and when i pressed the power button it shows a red light for 6 seconds, and when i repeatedly try to turn it on it will eventually lead to the red led to only glow as a dim red dot, and vanishes when i let go of the power button.
Could this be a chip problem? An capacitor, resistor? Or is it just the battery.
