Hope you are all doing fine! Couple weeks ago I cleaned my brother’s PS5 slim, but when we reassembled it, the front panel didn’t recieve power, that means the front light, power button and the two usb c ports doesn’t work, all the rest of the console is fine. The most glaring issue we found was the ribbon cable that connects the front panel to the motherboard, that some pins on the left are bent and the pins on the right are not so good. Is this really the problem? If so, can it be fixed or do I have to buy a new front panel or just the ribbon cable?
Also I wish I could post pictures on here but it denies links and images, if there is any way for me show how the ribbon cable is let me know.
PS : Always check to see if they are any latches when detaching cables lol
