Hi, I have a HAD switch that was water damaged. I inspected the board and the main damage was the P13 ic and a filter down from it had burnt out. I replaced those and gave it a clean and it now boots fine and everything seems good apart from randomly it cuts out and if I press the power button to put it to sleep it instantly cuts out making a pop sound through the speaker.
Any ideas on where to look for this specific issue?
Only other thing I’ve found that looks a bit dodgy is the IC on the back of the board behind where the game card connector is but I don’t know what the IC does. It has some sticky stuff between the balls. I have cleaned as much as I can with flux bath and IPA but still the same.
