Anybody have suggestions for ways to strengthen an HDMI port? I’ve been adding solder to the ground pins on the back side and that seems to help. I’ve noticed that in other electronics, the manufacturer applies some type of glue to reinforce ports and other components. Does anyone know what kind of adhesive this is? It’s flexible,very strong and its removable easily with some hot air.
The reinforcement you need usually not on the 19pins but the metal bracket. I know XSX uses some kind of glue in between the bracket and board
