so i tried to fix the disc drive cause it wouldnt take discs. so while i was at it i reapplied thermalpaste and put it back together. after that is plugged it in and it wouldnt turn on please help.
You’ll probably want to remove the power supply again and make sure the long pins sticking up from the motherboard aren’t bent. If they are bent and both going into the same power supply connection then it can cause that.
Also, try inserting a disc to see if it turns on then…that would narrow it down to a power button issue.
