I turned on my Xbox and I thought it was working normally but it stayed on the loading screen for about 40 minutes and then just went into a black screen.i have been using the Xbox for about 7 months and that was the first time thats happened to me.
I personally would change out the hard drive I have had this issue with a one x I was repairing. And that worked for me. I don’t know what the rule is about posting certain links. But there is a method needed to be used to format the hard drive a certain way

unplug your hdd, turn your console one, it will show troubleshotting menu… then turn it of, plug your hdd back again and turn it on…
