I have been watching videos for a while now on repairs. My iPhone 8+ battery is down to 78%. Even though it’s not terrible, I would like to replace it myself. Can anyone offer me any tips on the best way to replace the battery? I have seen a lot of people replace the battery by just disconnecting the battery cable and leaving the display cables on, and some people use specific adhesives to reattach the battery. I’ve seen some people use 3mm double-sided tape, but I’m unsure of what the best adhesive to use is. Also is it better to heat the device? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
