Just a quick one really,
I’ve successfully done a trace repair on the LCD flex cable using a strand on wire. well 2 strands as I had to rebuild to pins next to each other, which I was super proud about.
I decided to do the same on the backlight, using the same strand of wire.
guessing it’s 0.1 non enamel wire. that’s just a guess and it’s litterally one strand from a cable.
now my question is. the backlight works perfectly, but I’m wondering does that connection need a slightly thicker wire?
will I run into or problems in the future.
