So, absolutely gutted here. Lightning struck a few days ago, and hit the coax cable for my internet. This killed off not only my modem, but also my PS5 and my Xbox Series S, both connected to the router. Both were in rest mode, now no sign of life. F.
Everything was covered by insurance thankfully, but the PS5 is still notoriously hard to get a hold of, and also I now have two dead expensive consoles I would like to fix.
Has anyone worked with this issue before? I’m thinking the PSU got fried, but do you think anything else could have been hit via the LAN-port? Also, have anyone found a reliable source of PSU for either consoles?
