M92T36 pin 6 no input

If the board is unpatched I would run the Biskeydump payload and ensure you get valid BIS keys, the missing cap might be indicative of prior EMMC IC rework

Your reading of 2.5K on your 1V8PDR seems low, but it’s pretty typical for some meters to show wildly different readings here, I would verify this reading against another known goood board

Pointless at this stage, power button and battery should provide those prior rails at a consistent voltage following prompt to boot, if it doesn’t then as I said… battery connector/fuel gauge issue…

I don’t have another board but a tester.
left inductor gives me 800k at the start and gets increased to1400k and right inductor gives me 20k at the start and gets increased to 38k slowly.
I measured the inductors again with my multi tester which is used for the first measurement. and the left inductor mostly shows 3.3k but sometimes the value changed (8k ~ 17k)

However, I’ll wait for the missing capacitor (I ordered) and then continue on this.

The missing capacitor was 0402 4.7uf and it was the cause.
@Severence @Insomniac
I appreciate you for the advices.

Ahha! Good find! Glad you got it working

Good stuff :+1:

Though, this is simply a bypass cap and shouldn’t ordinarily prvent boot if it were missing, maybe heat in the area resolved an IC issue

To be on the safe side I would probably back it up if you can

Apologies for replying to an old thread,

I have a switch with with no 3.3v going to pin6 of the m92t36 and also no 3.3v to the p13usb.

It draws 0.43 amps @ 14.5v

With battery connected and power button pressed I am getting 1.8v and 4.2v around the EN IC but no 3.3v output.

What capacitor was missing? Can you scend a picture

Also in diode mode I get low readings on pin6 of the m92t36 of 0.042.

Between GND and Pin 6 of the m92t36 I’m getting 49ohms

short on 3.3v line then. remove big cap under PI3USB and see if short gone
