I’ve tried all the methods I could find, turning airplane mode, disconnecting joy cons, checking the power button, etc…
So I’m pretty sure it’s a board issue but I don’t know what component or what to check, does anybody have some clues?

I also have the same issue on a V1 which was fine until i fitted an RP2040. I removed it but the problem remains. I would love to find the problem!

Hello there ! It might be off-topic but I have a switch v1 that had odd sleep mode problems, it booted and worked fine until it tried to reach sleep mode.
In sleep, the switch would actually freeze with the screen backlight on, draining the battery until it died. If you tried to press the power button, the switch power-cycled and booted again; and so on, and so forth…
I pinpointed the issue to caps near the touchscreen/cartridge connector that I tore apart; I’m trying to find the correct values for these caps but it might be related ?
