My xbox was starting to get slower and slower starting july as i restarted the console and it just got stuck on 50% preparing console and forze this makes me a bit sad as it was my first console can anyone help me
It’a possible the hard drives failing.
You might try removing the drive and connecting to a PC and doing a full format (not quick) which will trigger the drives FW to restore good and remap bad sectors behind the scenes then afterwards run the error check in drive properties and ensure there is none.

Word of warning, this will erase all data on the drive and i have no experience with the above software so follow these steps at your own risk
