Howdy fellas, first time poster here.
I’ve got a new nintendo 3ds LL console here which crashes when any wireless comms are activated, i.e. download play, wifi, nfc, etc.
I would naturally assume that the wifi chip has failed since the console still turns on I assume it isnt shorted. Well anyway, I pulled out a donor board and pulled the wifi chip off it, then pulled the old presumably broken chip off the board and installed the replacement. Looked to have soldered down nicely, nothing of note there.
Console turns on, and yet still has the exact same issue. Is there any common faults that could be causing this that I can check for?
