So i have this new 3ds xl motherboard that shows no signs of life and I really really want to fix it.
Here is all the info I got. It’s not the daughterboard as this one works in other consoles OK. F1 and f2 fuses are ok. The daughterboard socket seems fine. Voltage goes to the motherboard when the battery is on and a pin in the socket does change when i press the power button but again no blue light at all.
The only thing that intrigue me is thar comparing it with a good motherboard there is a big grey/White capacitor below and close to the sd card reader socket that does receive voltage in the good board but doesnt in the bad motherboard.
I didn’t found shorts.
So any help please??? What can i do???
