Nintendo Still Not Charging after chip replacement

Hi. I have an earlier Nintendo’s switch and it’s at a

repair shop where he does a lot of outsourcing work for local

phone repair shops. So far he’s replaced the M92T36 charging

switch twice now and the charging port and the battery charges

when it’s out of the switch connected directly to the charging

posts. Any other ideas of what could be wrong? At this point I’m

far enough in I should’ve just bought a new one but thought i’d

ask if there was another likely problem.

There are a number of things that can cause a Switch to not charge. Are any of the capacitors shorted near the charge chip or the video chip?

Here’s an interesting point I just found it; the battery display shows it’s charging but the battery is decreasing in charge.
