Can an faulty eMMC be replaced on a Nintendo Switch?

A faulty eMMC can be replaced and the system fully recovered if Boot0 and Boot1 (or at least the prodkeys) are dumped/saved. If not the Switch can be partical restored but will not be able to contact Nintendo servers.

Would I be asking to much if you know where I could find exacyt details to do thee procedures
I though it could not be repaired and you have to say good bye to your device
sthetix on youtube has three videos (level 1, level 2 and level 3) where he discribes the different procedures for recovering eMMCs with and without prodkeys
