Nintendo Switch Lite stopped charging when I was installing games via USB using the BDI Installer (PicoFly installed). PC connection continues without problems, except it is not charging the console. I tested multiples chargers besides the original. I also tried pressing and holding the power button for 30s and charging for two hours. The battery works. charged it by other methods and connected it back to the switch and turns on. It’s drawing 0 amps, but the voltage readings on the board are correct except for that one big cap by the BQ24193; I am getting around 3.6v, I read there should be 4.3v when charging. I replaced the M92T36, BQ24193 and the charging port with new ones, and there are no shorted capacitors. I reflowed the small circuits around the back of the charging port to rule out cold solder joints. The issue persists. What other measurements can I take to continue with the diagnosis? I haven’t been able to find the schematics.
What is Hekate showing at Battery Info?

Even when it shows “charging,” the battery percentage decreases bit by bit. I checked the diode values on cc1 and cc2; both give me 0.5v on one side and 1.2v~ on the other. Is that okay? I also checked the diode value of the middle battery pin: 0.6v~ on one side and no continuity on the other.
Your capacity shows “1000 mAh - Init” which indicate that the fuel gauge ic has been reseted.
How does the charging looks if the Switch is booted to HOS?
The same, it shows “charging” icon, but the battery percentage slowly decreases. Zero amperage draw with any charger/cable. But the data connection works, my PC recognizes it.
I would replace the fuel gauge ic and see if it fix the issue.
that would be the MAX17050 IC?
Right. fuel gauge = max17050 I forgot to write.
