Switch Lite worked fine in Hetake, and in EmuNand with fan speeding level by level from atmosphere until finally the old over heating error popped up.
In OFW, it always used to say overheating error but now it just freezes. I’ve removed picofly and all wiring I’ve done to see if it’s related to it and now all are clean and still the same.
Long story, I modded this over a year ago, after a week, all buttons died except the Home and Power + Vol buttons.
Then a speaker started to making a noise, and then both speakers started the same. I removed them and continue to play with a PS4 controller until finally “console is overheating” error started popping up just after boot and never went away.
So I stored the console about a year and took it out recently, applied new thermal paste and played games for like 8 hours normally until the old issue first came like in 4 hours, then started frequently until almost every time.
I’ve managed to boot EMUNAND by changing the speed of the fan in atmosphere but it didn’t last long.
I’ve looked at temp using status monitor overlay, it’s always around 35-47C but error kept popping up, even after a cold boot.
On hekate, every time both the battery stats and the temperature stats shows upon boot, then they both disappear in like 5-10 seconds making them indicate 0. Then after refreshing, only battery stats shows up, never the temperature.
I can’t find any shorts around any chips, except the Max chip, but checked online and heard those caps are low resistance. I don’t know where to look for the error, on YouTube there is one video of Switch Lite with non responsive buttons, according to him, he reflow the APU with 500C 100% hotair, but I would like to see if there is anything to test before I try it as I have no experience with such things and it could mess everything up. I’m not an expert but I’ve multimeter and test with some guidance lol
Sometimes I got and still get 2101-0001 error upon booting OFW but switch charged normally as usual specifically in CFW, now all are removed so not sure as system freezes.
