So I have a customers PS5 and I replaced the fan connector motherboard edm 030. Now I have to power on the pwm pin. I’m not sure if I blew a fuse or a cap. Just needing some help. It’s got me stumped

This sounds like a classic issue after fan header replacement. Most likely the PWM pin (pin 2/3) pad has lifted or the trace is broken - just check continuity straight from the header to the fan controller IC (look for “FAN_PWM” net in your boardview).
If the connection is good, check around the fan header for a fuse or cap - those blow super easily there. Or it could be a short in the PMIC/fan controller area (the RT6208 near the APU controls it).
