Ok so as some of you may know the PS2 slim takes 8.5V, I don’t have a power adaptor for it but I have a multi adaptor that fits, the problem is it goes 7.5V to 9V and on 7.5 it powers on but looses power and turns off when reading a disc, so my question is can I turn it to 9V without it exploding something, I cannot afford to replace it or buy a real power adaptor at the moment and only need it temporarily i’m just fixing it for a friend
