PS3 Super Slim Power Issues (PSU Already Replaced)

Hi. I just finished replacing the power supply unit in my PS3 super slim and I’m right back to where I started. This PS3 has operated without fail for years, mostly as a Blu-ray player, but recently started having power issues. When powering it on, there is no signal and the console powers itself off after perhaps 15 seconds, and the standby light doesn’t even come back on until it’s unplugged and plugged back in. As I stated, I replaced the power supply with a replacement unit off of Amazon, and that solved nothing. System is still having the same exact issue.

Does anyone know of anything simple I might be missing? I’m a novice when it comes to console repair, so if it requires soldering, etc, that’s a little out of my depth.

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately that issue is usually a motherboard issue, it can be something as simple as a fuse or something else causing it, or a full on cpu or gpu failure. If its one of the last two there are no at home fixes for it unfortunately
