I’m currently having a few issues with my PS4. On powering up the controller would not connect when plugged in and error code NW-35959-1 would flash up. Since then I’ve stripped cleaned and rebuilt the unit and formatted the HDD however the controller will still not sync. I have noticed that I can get into Safe Mode where the controller responds and i have tried each of the 7 possible options (i.e restarted the machine, updated the software, restored to default, rebuilt the database and initialized the PS4) though after each attempt, returns to now working at the home screen.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried to hard reset the controller with the reset button on the back of it. Does the controller work on another machine.
