For a while now, while playing games, my friends controller shuts off randomly and blinks blue, and he has to restart his PS4, sometimes he has to unplug it. It’s been troubling him, so he told me to figure out the problem, I can’t figure it out right now due to coronavirus, so I told him that I’m going to submit a forum about the issue and see if anybody can help.
Try resetting the controller. There’s a little pinhole behind the controller, under L2. Hold it for 10 seconds.
Of that doesnt work, try a different controller. Of 2nd controller works, then it’s not the console. If it is the console, you’ll be looking into the Bluetooth/Wifi antenna or chip.
