Hi, I have a problem with my PS4 Pro. When I insert a disc, it keeps spinning all the time, no matter whether I launch the game or not. It spins until I eject the disc. The console reads the disc and I can copy the game, but the disk never stops spinning. My first suspicion is that something might be wrong with the laser.
So I need replase chip? What are the consequences if I do nothing about this problem. Than you for your replay, I would be very grateful if you would answer this question too.
nothing just few mord power cosumption and noise. You could replace the laser module with bracket see if it solves the issue but ultimately you would need to replace that chip in worst case
